The Society for Damjeok Syndrome has officially launched the Damjeok Standardization Committee
(Chair: Dr. Rho Gi-Hwan; Members: Choi Gyu-Ho, Lim Yun-Seo, Lee Jin-Hee) to establish objective standards for the definition, diagnosis, severity classification, and treatment of Damjeok Syndrome (DJS).
Since its establishment, the committee has been producing tangible achievements in the following areas :
- Registration of DJS as an official disease entity
- Development of diagnostic criteria
- Establishment of grading systems
- Creation of standardized questionnaires
- Compilation of case collections
- Validation of treatment legitimacy through data analysis and medical device evidence
These efforts have served as the foundation for the 8.89 billion KRW government-funded research project on Damjeok Syndrome.
To share and disseminate the outcomes of these initiatives, the Damjeok Standardization Committee will continue to upload related materials on the official website of the Society for Damjeok Syndrome.
